Reality check . . .  Do we understand how marvelous (to be marveled about) the passage of Scripture is?

Welcome to our first page in a series of being privileged to study and begin to understand more about the HOLY SPIRIT.  Don't worry if you already know a lot.  There is always more.  That is because HE is unsearchable.  That means HE is too wonderful and deep and mighty and all . . . everything for us to fully grasp.  Ever!  So we can all come up a bit together.  OK?

In our Scripture we have a young girl pledged to be married, finding herself pregnant.  Being a virgin, this was very perplexing to say the least.  Especially living in a day where girls in her condition were routinely stoned to death.

But focus in another perspective.  The FATHER, the SON and the SPIRIT.  ONE GOD, THREE PERSONIFICATIONS.  Three personalities.  Three roles to play.  The decision was made in heaven that the SON would become a human being.  HE must be born of a woman to accomplish this.

The perfect mommy must be found.  The planting of the SEED must be done.  This job was commissioned to the HOLY SPIRIT.  Understand that to accomplish this task, HE had to examine the heart and life of every female in the planet.  

We take this next fact for granted.  I believe that we take most of what the HOLY SPIRIT does for granted.  HE knows the heart of every human being alive from Adam to now.  HE knows our good and bad and everything in between.  HE even knows our intentions.  When we pray, it is HIM that hears our prayers, as the AGENT on the earth to listen.  HE even helps our prayers as HE hears them.

HE is the incredible WORKER of the Covenant.  HE is like a master chef, preparing a meal for a king.  HE gently stirs, adds the perfect ingredients at the right time, in the right proportion.  HIS result will be perfection.  

So maybe we shouldn't be so tense about our destiny.  The SHAPER and MOLDER of our lives is more than capable and more than enough!  Begin praying with me starting today that we may know HIM better.  HE is able to do that, because HE is our perfect GUIDE and TEACHER, too!
