Philippians 4:6-7

"Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication
with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto GOD.
And the peace of GOD, which passes all understanding, shall keep your
hearts and minds through CHRIST JESUS."

From Worry To Peace
Page Two

On page one I promised some simple steps toward peace.  Well, the pressure is on now.  That's OK, because I have an excellent source in the Word of our GOD!

Realize first that HE wants you in HIS peace.  That is why HE wrote so much about it.  Speaking of peace, there are so many definitions, so I guess it will be fine for me to make one of my own.  Here it is:

Peace - The absence of unnecessary worry.

Let me ask you two quick questions . . . .

1.  First, How big is our GOD

2Second, Do you believe HE wants you safe, secure and provided for?

If you answered yes to these, the rest will be easy.  If not, see this page

www.christonaa.org

Well, as promised, here are the steps to peace that work every time:

1.  Make your request known to your FATHER in Heaven.

Whatever it is, nothing is ever too big or too small or too in-between.  HE cares for you!  HE is proactive and even knows your needs before you ask.  HE also knows the right way and the right time to provide answers for you.  HE never misses the opportunity to provide the right answer at the right time!

2.  Do it with thanksgiving.

When we thank in advance we display our faith in HIM to provide the answers to our prayers.  There is a heavenly host who sees our faith and glorifies the FATHER because of it.  By thanking HIM, we give back a tiny bit for the incredible sacrifice HE made for us, HIS family.

Your assignment:  Today (now) make your requests known (with thanksgiving) to GOD.    Please report back tomorrow with some results.  We want to hear from you.  Put HIM to the test (yes, under certain circumstances we can do that) and see that HE is not only good in general, but good to you!

On page three we will conclude by talking a bit more about peace.
