From Worry To Peace
Peace - The final frontier. One day we will have it in full measure. Today we can have it to the point which we are willing to allow our FATHER to come in to our lives and work things around a bit. Be assured that HE wants peace for you. Also be assured that there are aspects of our life that will require some changing in order to afford peace. HE is providing peace in the short and the long run. There are some quick-fixes for peace. Then there are some issues with which JESUS must make long-term adjustments in our lives to bring peace. Are you willing to allow HIM? HE won't work against your will. HE is not like that. It has been said that HE is a gentleman. Well, HE is beyond that. A gentleman opens the door for a lady. JESUS is the ultimate respecter of your will. HE loves you so much that HE waits and waits and waits for you to come to a place where your own choices for life are realized to be fruitless. This is called "rock-bottom" by some. When we reach that point, we are willing to have HIM make the necessary changes in us to provide HIS ultimate peace. We may reach this point many times in our walk with HIM. And we need to! Are you there right now? Make this choice and say this (or your own version) to HIM: "JESUS, you have my heart and soul. Do whatever you need to do to make me what you want me to be!" And as you make this choice, lay back into HIS strong arms and let HIS peace reign in you! |
