Zechariah 12:10
[ Mourning for the One They Pierced ] "And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and supplication. They will look on me, the one they have pierced, and they will mourn for him as one mourns for an only child, and grieve bitterly for him as one grieves for a firstborn son.

Luke 2:40
And the child grew and became strong; he was filled with wisdom, and the grace of God was upon him.

Here we begin a rather lengthy study on the concept of Grace.  This topic is extremely important, especially since we, as flawed creatures, have difficulty holding on to the working of Grace in our lives.

Even after many years of serving the LORD, I deal personally with the reality of Grace on almost a daily basis.  How about you?

So we will take as long as we need to fully explore what our FATHER wanted us to understand about this wonderful gift.

But, let us start by understanding that JESUS was the bearer of Grace into this world.  HE was all about Grace, and Grace was all around HIM, everywhere he went.  Even now, the result of the Grace that HE brought to us is still blossoming like a delicate rose among thorns.

Read the verses above.  Here we see the prediction of JESUS' death on the Cross and the beginning of HIS life on earth as recorded in the Gospel of Luke.  All the Grace we now know came from that Precious Life!  Lets take just a moment to think about JESUS!
