Grace - (28)
Christianity's Distinguishing Force

Romans 12:3
For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the measure of faith God has given you.

GOD has given us a measure of Faith.  So, if you ever feel as though you are without Faith, you are not.  Faith was given by the Grace of our LORD, so you have it and that's that!

But, we are not to think more highly of ourselves than we ought.  This is interesting.  I have known many a follower of JESUS who seems to be a bit too self-absorbed.  Actually I have been one, myself.

The wonderful thing about Grace, and all the components of Grace is that it is freely given, not earned.  There is no boasting allowed!

So, one of the main foundation points of our Faith is that we are to be humble, kind to one another, caring for each other and thankful to the LORD for HIS Grace!
