2 Corinthians 1:12
[ Paul's Change of Plans ] Now this is our boast: Our conscience testifies that we have conducted ourselves in the world, and especially in our relations with you, in the holiness and sincerity that are from God. We have done so not according to worldly wisdom but according to God's grace.

There is a difference between worldly wisdom and GOD'S Grace.  When I say, worldly wisdom, I am not referring to educational matters which are in line with the Scripture.  What I mean is when we act as though we have it "all figured out" despite what the Word says.

Am I saying that you should go against common sense?  Well, not as a matter of course, but if our common sense does not line up with the Word of GOD, then it is no good for your life.

How can you tell?  Well, someone once told me, "Small decision, small guidance, big decision, big guidance."  Meaning, there are some decisions you can make just on your own heart and its knowledge of GOD'S ways.  But when you must make a big choice, get prayer, counsel (Godly advice), consult the Word, your Pastor and - did I say "Pray?"

Worldly wisdom won't get you very far, at least not in the right direction, but you can always count on GOD'S Grace to see you to the next level!
