Grace - (57)
Christianity's Distinguishing Force

Ephesians 1:6
to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves.

Good news!  Well, I try to get a bit of that in each day.  But this is exceptionally great news!  Let's "do the math" on the Scripture above.  Shall we?

Grace is Great.  Right?  Grace holds all we need as followers of the LORD JESUS CHRIST.  Yes, that is right.  Forgiveness is there, so is mercy, provision, protection, answer to prayer, healing and the list goes on.

With Grace we can make it.  No, it doesn't happen automatically, we need to be aware of Grace and we need to apply Grace to our lives.  Grace is like medicine, which does no good sitting in the cabinet.  It only works when we apply it!

Who gets this wonderful Grace?  Can't earn it.  Can't beg for it.  Can't buy it.  But, according to the Apostle, Grace is freely given to us in the One he loves.

Just a clue here:

One = JESUS

he = the FATHER

So, the FATHER gives us Grace in JESUS.  We receive JESUS freely through faith in HIM.
