Beatitudes - being blessed

God blesses those who are persecuted because they live for God, for the
Kingdom of Heaven is theirs. Oh! So
much to write and so little space! I
once wrote a song called "The Kingdome of JESUS
is Upside-down." Actually the title is in error . . . . There is no
problem with the Kingdom, it is our world that is messed up! Our
world blesses the rich, the famous, the beautiful, the powerful . . . But it
scorns the persecuted. And, if you are paying attention, this world especially
scorns those who follow JESUS. Even
here in the USA, a nation founded after the principles of Christian faith, those who
try to live their lives according to the Word are looked upon as
"Bible-thumping, holy-rolling, too-heavenly-minded-to-be-of-any-earthly-good .
. . fanatics! In other places,
followers of JESUS are hunted down and killed,
tortured or imprisoned. If you are feeling
persecuted either by the world or by the unseen enemy, I have good news! You
are the topic of favor in the heavenly realm. Angels are watching. HE
is watching! And HE is blessing you! Realize
that JESUS is with you and the more so as you
are persecuted. Look up to HIM and receive
HIS love and favor! And that is worth more
than all the world has to give! Got JESUS?
