will get back to the Beatitudes soon, but first something not so completely different.
Philippians 4:17 (Amplified Bible)
17Not
that I seek or am eager for [your] gift, but I do seek and am eager for the fruit
which increases to your credit [the harvest of blessing that is
accumulating to your account]. Well,
I have a Praise Report and a thanks to shout out. Yesterday 5 people (additional
to the first 3) found it in their hearts to give toward our JoyMission Project
(sending 1,000 Warrior Praise CD's to Evangelist Joy Ike in Nigeria). Thank you
for your obedience . . . And, yes, I am
writing about it today. I am hoping you will stay with me to the end of this
note . . . . . I had not planned on
this, but I felt it was the right thing to do. See if you agree: I
was talking to the LORD about all this. I
asked HIM what I should say to everyone.
Here is what I think I should say to you: JESUS
loves you whether you give or not. That
is amazing, isn't it? Here HE gave
everything (HIS life included) so that we might
live a life worth living, and even have eternal life with HIM.
And HE is trying to organize a way to encourage a
very sweet young lady in Nigeria by prompting some older guys and their families, who
live in a much less perilous part of the world, to help HIM
do this task. The three guys, being rich in
enthusiasm but not in much else, realize they must depend on the LORD
and "outside sources" to make this happen. So,
back to JESUS loving us whether we give or not . .
. . HE loves us no matter what! HIS
love is not about our performance. It is about HIS
Performance! Once again I was so amazed that
I asked for Scripture to back it up. Here it is . . .
Jeremiah
31:3
The LORD
appeared to us in the past, saying: "I have loved you with an everlasting love;
I have drawn you with loving-kindness. An
Everlasting Love . . . . An impartial, not-a-respecter-of-persons,
Everlasting Love! HE is truly amazing. And
we at PraiseNation love you too and pledge our lives to you. If you should still
feel the desire to give, we open that door, and the information follows this evotion. Regardless
of what you are facing today, face it with the knowledge that HE
is with you! HIS love conquers all! -
