Such knowledge is too wonderful for me,
too
great for me to know! For
the next few weeks we will look at something very interesting - From Psalm 139, we
will see the characteristics of our relationship with JESUS.
You may be surprised and delighted to know how deeply it runs! The
LORD doesn't share everything with us Follow
me. Do you have any friends (I use the term loosely) who feel it is their duty
to tell you everything? Especially the painful things, about your life?
Well I do. And sometimes I want to say, "Just spare me the details . . .
" Today's topic is a bit different,
maybe not a jumper and shouter. But it is important to see how the LORD
relates to us. There are things that we want to know that we just don't need to
know. Have you ever prayed this prayer: "Why,
GOD - WHY! I
have, and sometimes I just don't get an answer (to my liking). You
see, if we knew everything about ourselves and our lives, we may give up, or go the
wrong way. I will give you an example. Several
times in my life I have spent years on a course of action that ended up in the dump.
When it did, I realized that it had all been training for my next course of action.
But, I never would have thrown myself into the first if I knew that it was only a time
of training. You are in that time right
now (and . . . so am I). Remember that the life with JESUS
is a path that we walk. Well, you are on a step that leads to . . . guess
what . . . The next step! David
said, "Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path." The
lamp he was referring to only illuminated the very next step (no mag-lights back
then). One day we will be able to sit
with JESUS and discuss our walk in this life.
We will see how vital each step we took was and how important that we give everything
to that step as though it was the only step we would ever take! Got
