You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion,
as I was woven together in the dark of the womb.
We
are continuing our study from Psalm 139, we will see the characteristics of our
relationship with JESUS.
You may be surprised and delighted to know how deeply it runs! JESUS
is our Maker (Part 3) In America we
are so scientific. We think we know everything. We analyze and
scrutinize life with a clinical perspective. Everything has to line up with
the natural view of the cosmos. There is very little room for the Spiritual
perspective. Everything is so "cut
and dry!" But, since
there is no doubt in my mind that we are created by a kind, loving and all powerful
being whom we name God in the general, and JESUS
in the specific, I personally have to guard against my "scientific" world
view. Don't get me wrong, I am not even
close to being "anti-scientific." Science is wonderful, especially
when it is the science that assumes as its first principle that Creation is by GOD. Now,
to the birth process. We know from science that a fertilized egg splits and
splits and splits and gradually forms a human body. But, there is more.
This cannot be proven by science, and that is OK with me. The
Scripture we have today tells us that our CREATOR
is there with us as we are gently woven together in the womb. How incredible
this is! Our GOD is there with us from
conception, overseeing the process! HE is
there and HE is inputting into us HIS
nature and character. We are HIS
handiwork, made specifically and uniquely for the purpose HE
intended. We are formed to be . . . . us! We are the exact reflection of
HIS personal design. We are special,
unique, intended. We are born with a purpose and we have HIS
potential. All this being the case, the
conclusion I draw is this: If we,
personally, were not here, it would change the entire face of the world!
So, it is vital that we walk in HIS path and
fulfill our destiny. Visit
