Patience:  The ability to stand strong no matter what hostile device is assaulting you (my definition)

 James Chapter 1

13 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempts he any man: GospelSeek.com

There is a main purpose in life.  And there are minor purposes in life.  Basically if you believe in the GOD of the Bible, you must believe that life is "riddled" with purpose.

Now, let's qualify that statement:  GOD does not cause every event any more than Henry Ford causes all automobile accidents.  But our LORD created this world and HE did it for a reason.  And you are the reason.

HE designed everything that there is in order to build the perfect friends for HIMSELF.  Actually the perfect family for HIMSELF.

So, I have just answered the question, "Why am I tempted, have trials, have trouble?"  The answer is that it is part of the way HE knew the system had to work.  To build us without the will to choose is to build robots.  If GOD was a "control freak" that would be just fine.

But HE is not.  As we learned yesterday in Monday Joy, HE is LORD, but HE chooses not to lord over us (control us).

So, HE built a system where we can choose HIM and HIS Path or choose ourselves and our own path.  Although there are troubles, trials and temptation, HE does not cause them.  HE is the one who gives us the will and the strength to overcome, but only when we choose HIS Path.

So, what are you waiting for?  Here is a site where you can go to get on the Path or get back on the Path - www.christonaa.org
