you ever heard the saying, "If you're going to talk the talk, you'd better walk
the walk?" Common saying in the USA. JESUS
takes it one step (one Giant step) farther in our passage today. We
live by the Law of Liberty. What a beautiful thing that is! To live in a
time whereby accepting JESUS as SAVIOR
and LORD we are free from a dead service to GOD
and released to the adventure of following HIS SPIRIT. So
we read the Word, and listen for HIS Voice and
we walk that way. There is the difficulty. Hearing the Word and walking
the Word are not the same. If you are like me you have many occasions where
you knew what you should have done but did something different. And the
results were less than pleasing. Here
is a promise . . . Not from me, but from HIM.
When we are presented with a situation and we know the right way and
then choose to walk the right way, we are blessed! That's
a promise! A guarantee! But it takes practice. Try it today.
Make a choice to act on HIS Word and see how
blessed you will be!
