So God created man in his own
image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. So,
let's get started. Best place to start is at the beginning. GOD
created mankind. HE created male and
female. HE did it on purpose. HE
did it with a purpose! HE always has a
perfect plan and purpose to everything HE does. Not
only did HE create us, HE
did so in HIS image. Humans are the
only created living thing that we know of who are created in the exact image of the LORD
GOD. Think about that. There are so
many implications contained in that action. Now
look at your life. Does it resemble the Image of GOD
ALMIGHTY? Well, you may not think so, but
it does. We live, breathe, love, explore, create, learn, think, plan,
interact, work, play, laugh, cry . . . We are like HIM! And,
working backwards, HE is like us! Although
HE is perfect, and we are not, HE
is like us in nature. GOD created us to be
like HIM so that we could be friends with HIM.
That is almost too amazing to type! GOD
created you and me to love HIM like we love the
most lovable of our friends. In fact, as we learn to know HIM
more, we find that HE is the most worthy
of our love. Don't be afraid - yes, HE is
the Captain of the Armies of Heaven, but HE has
chosen to be our best friend! Almost
beyond comprehension . . . but not quite!
