We love because he first loved us. Our
primary meaning in this life is for us to love GOD.
The most incredible thing is that for the most part, people run from GOD.
Think about it. Even those of us who are followers have a tendency to avoid HIM
at times. I guess HE
is just so big that HE is scary. It is
kind of like me with very small children. I am 6'3" and have a deep
voice. I love babies, but when I approach one who doesn't know me, there can
be some serious reactions on the part of the little one. I
have learned to get down on their level. I sit or lay down on the floor and
that seems to help a bit. Once they realize my purpose in life is not to step
on them, we get along great. So the LORD
bent down to our level. HE loved us
first, not only in the creation of us, but again, when JESUS
came to the earth as a human being. Take time to realize that fact. It
is so important. HE loved and loves us so
much that the Mighty GOD became just like us so
as not to scare us too much and to show the power of HIS
infinite love for us! I think you can
agree that our One GOD is the best! Let's
take time to love on HIM today!
