you ever wondered "what's it all about?" Let's take some time with
the
Word of GOD to see what He has to say about it! Purpose

Love the Lord your God with
all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.

Love your neighbor as yourself. John
17:24-26 "Father,
I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, and to see my glory, the
glory you have given me because you loved me before the creation of the world.
"Righteous Father, though the world does not know you, I know you, and
they know that you have sent me. I
have made you known to them, and will continue to make you known in order that the
love you have for me may be in them and that I myself may be in them." There
is too much to write about and so little space! This is a portion of the
prayer JESUS prayed the night before the Cross.
HE sweat blood while praying it. HE
wanted and wants this more than anything else. HE
wants us to know the FATHER and HIS
great love so that we can all be one in HIM and HE
can live in us! And as a follower of JESUS,
HE does live in us. HIS
greatest purpose, in my opinion, is to make known the FATHER'S
love for us so that we can, in unity, love HIM
back! So simple. The answer to
the question, "What am I here for" is "To learn to love the FATHER
completely." And with that love comes all the blessings and benefits of HIS
love for us. What a great relationship.
The world is looking for a great relationship. At least 40% of the hundreds of
spam emails I receive are about how to find the perfect relationship. Like the
old songs says, "Looking for love in all the wrong places . . " Look
to the FATHER. HE
already has perfect love for us, and we just need to learn to love HIM
with all that we are. Next we will be
looking at loving our neighbors as ourselves.
