Need Hope?
(Editor's note: Hope, when referred to in the Word of GOD means something drastically different from the common language usage. It is a courageous, committed and consistent certainty that what has been Promised by CREATOR will indeed come to pass in our personal walk with HIM!
Isaiah
40:31
but those who hope
in the LORD
will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow
weary, they will walk and not be faint
We truly believe that our timing is correct and our direction is HIS for this world now! Today! Need hope? Fighting from a desperate position? Well, then buckle up! This is for you!
When was the last time you felt like you were soaring? Can you run and not get tired? Can you walk without quitting? Well, some of us can and some of us can't. Actually I don't think I have seen anyone flying lately (At least not where I live).
Obviously (or not so obviously) this Scripture does not refer to the physical realm. If we were to pull out the inner meaning of this Scripture it might sound something like this . .
". . . . Those who are courageous, committed and consistently certain that all the Promises of the FATHER are not only true, but will come to pass, will renew their strength of faith so that it will never dissipate! They will fly like an eagle over the valleys of this life. They will run past every demonic attack! They will walk the walk of Faith in JESUS and will never, never, never be defeated or surrender!"
Well, what do you think? I truly believe that this is the shade of meaning that CREATOR intended for us when HE penned Isaiah 40:31. And I believe it is well within the reach of every Follower of JESUS! It is the true meaning of hope. Not as the world perceived hope, which is a wishy-washy, mealy-mouthed, que-sera-sera, whatever-will-be concept!
The Biblical concept of hope is a hard-lined, eye-squinting, I-am-not-moving faith that will be planted and firm until every drop of the Word of CREATOR is fulfilled!
