Keep Your Hope In The Scriptures!
(Editor's note: Hope, when referred to in the Word of GOD means something drastically different from the common language usage. It is a courageous, committed and consistent certainty that what has been Promised by CREATOR will indeed come to pass in our personal walk with HIM!
Psalm
147:11
The LORD
taketh pleasure
in them that fear
him, in those that hope
in his mercy.
I am not sure if you see how hopeful our Scripture is today. I want to help you see it.
The LORD delights in those who fear (respect, revere and obey) HIM! Delights! Can you hear that? The LORD GOD ALMIGHTY delights in you! Can you have a better life, than one in which the LORD delights? No you can't!
Here is what delight means . . . .
1. 'JOY': great 'JOY' and pleasure.
2. somebody or something giving 'JOY': somebody or something that brings somebody great 'JOY' and pleasure.
Now if a wealthy relative delights in you, guess what that means . . . Big gifts, money when necessary, trips all over, and a great inheritance one day. That is because our wealthy relative has power, funds and the will to bless you.
How much more when the CREATOR of Heaven and Earth delights in you!!! HE has it all! HE has everything you need! And more! Lots more!
And HE delights in you when you respect, revere and obey HIM. Now I don't mean be perfect. HE is a great FATHER and HE works with us along life's way. But if you "set your heart" on respect, HE will help carry out the rest.
