It
Is The 'JOY' Of
The LORD That Gives You Hope! "Is
there yet any seed left in the barn? Until now, the vine and the fig-tree, the pomegranate
and the olive tree have not borne fruit. "From this day on I will
bless you.'" Haggai 2:19 Today,
being Monday, the first busy day of your week, we pray that you get your 'JOY'
ON and praise the LORD with us, the whole week long! Have
you looked in your barn lately? Did you know that you were born in a barn, at least
that is what is rumored anyway. It still rings in your ears; "Close the door!
Were you born in a barn?" Since you were too young to remember your birth, who
knows, maybe you were born in a barn after all. J
The
LORD asks if HIS people have
noticed that there is nothing in the barns, or the orchards. The people do not seem
to have seed for planting new crops, nor fruit to harvest on their mature trees. It
appears that there is nothing healthy going on for them and they are in trouble!
When
you find yourself in the situation where it seems as though there is nothing healthy going
on in your life, when you are faced with more troubles than answers, when you reach a
place of desperation over what you can see, you often loose your hope and give in to
depression and worse! During these times, you may even wonder if the LORD
even knows about your suffering.
Need some good news! HE
does know!! HE cares!! HE
is always ready to rescue HIS people!! That is you by
the way. Speak HIS truth, HIS
Word, out loud, where you can hear with your outer ear in order to gain and build your
faith. Remember, faith comes from hearing and hearing from the Word of God, Romans
10:17.
As you begin to quote this promise of GOD,
you will see HIS deliverance in your life; "From
this day on I will bless
you." HE means it! HE
really does! The
fastest way out of depression is simple obedience. You do not 'feel' like doing
something simple about your often difficult and complicated situations, and yet, the LORD
uses foolish things to confound your pride and to bring you to healing and deliverance and
into HIS 'JOY'. Today and
everyday, live your life in the 'JOY' of the LORD! Are
you hearing yourself say?
"From
this day on I will bless
you." "From this day
on I will bless
you." "From this day
on I will bless
you."
