MONDAY JOY #20
The 'JOY' Of The LORD Is Your Sighing Buster!
"The
ransomed of the LORD will
return. They
will enter Zion with singing; everlasting 'JOY' will
crown their heads. Gladness and 'JOY' will
overtake them, and sorrow and
sighing will flee away." Today, being Monday, the first busy day of your week, we pray that you get your 'JOY' ON and praise the LORD with us, the whole week long! Zion describes the place where the LORD dwells. When HE ransoms you through the blood of JESUS, you come to HIM, choosing to sing HIS praises and to walk in HIS everlasting 'JOY'. Overtaken by Gladness and the 'JOY' of the LORD, you no longer try to hold back all your emotions, expressions or actions that are part or your praise and worship of HIM. "And ....... sighing will flee away" Sighing is something that everybody has done at one time or another. Actually there is an entire language of sighing. You sigh when you are tired, when you have finished a big job, when you are irritated about someone or something. There
even exists the language of sighing about what the LORD
is doing, or not doing, in your life! This kind of sighing the
Scripture calls, grumbling. The Israelites in the
wilderness on their way the their soon to be land flowing with milk and honey perfected
the language of grumbling instead of the language of praise
and faith. It seemed that the LORD did not live up to their
expectations of HIM and they grumbled
against HIM at every turn. They soon found out that grumbling
against the LORD was very unprofitable. "And
do not grumble, as
some of them did--and were killed by the destroying angel." 1 Corinthians 10:10 Ask HIM to forgive you for any or all grumbling you have learned to do toward HIM. Remember, if you are still waiting for answers to your prayers, you simply have not lived long enough. Today and everyday, live your life in the 'JOY' of the LORD! |
