"Let us fix our eyes on JESUS, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the 'JOY' set before HIM endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of GOD."

Today, being Monday, the first busy day of your week, we pray that you get your 'JOY' ON and praise the LORD with us, the whole week long!

"Let us fix our eyes on JESUS.." So many things seek to gain our attention everyday. The things we set our eyes on will guide our thoughts and actions. When we fix our eyes on JESUS we are able to walk HIS Path of Life without straying.

"..JESUS, the author and perfecter of our faith.."  The gift of faith begins and ends with JESUS.  Our faith was from the beginning HIS idea not ours.  We have been given a faith that began, is sustained by, and sees us through to our final goal of, Eternity with JESUS.

"..who for the 'JOY' set before HIM endured the cross, scorning its shame.."  Do you ever feel down or depressed and wonder if your existence is important to anyone?  Well, JESUS has always had HIS eyes on you. You were the 'JOY' set before HIM while HE was on the cross, and HE endured the cross for you.  You are the receiver of HIS constant love.

"..and sat down at the right hand of the throne of GOD.."  When JESUS rose from the dead, HE ascended to Heaven and HIS sitting down at the right hand of the throne of GOD signifies HIS resting from HIS work having provided your salvation.  

To experience the LORD'S abiding 'JOY', focus your eyesight on JESUS. You can rest in his gift of faith, always trusting in HIS continual love for you that never ends.  Today and everyday, live your life in the 'JOY' of the LORD!
