MONDAY JOY #50

Thank YOU For The 'JOY' Of The LORD!

 

"You will grieve, but your grief will turn to 'JOY'."
John 16:20

Today, being Monday, the first busy day of your week, we pray that you get your 'JOY' ON and praise the LORD with us, the whole week long!

JESUS was speaking about HIS death and absence from HIS disciples bringing grief to them which would soon turn into 'JOY' when HE rose from the dead and appeared to them.  In HIS words we come to know truth about grief and the 'JOY'   of the LORD.  No matter how bitter or disabling the grief that comes to you, HIS 'JOY' is on its way.  The 'JOY' of the LORD is more powerful and able to deliver you than a-n-y grief you will ever face.

It's not possible to escape the experience of grief in your lifetime.   
Consider the sources of grief - 

Satan, a created angel.
Sin you commit. 
Sin others commit. 
Life in general in this sin-filled world we live in.

Consider the source of the 'JOY' of the LORD -

GOD THE FATHER.
GOD THE SON.
GOD THE HOLY SPIRIT.  ONE GOD, CREATOR, SAVIOR, LORD OF HEAVEN AND EARTH AND ALL THAT 'IS'!

The LORD does not make light of or mock your grief or suffering.  HE has lovingly and faithfully provided you with HIS power to overcome your grief.  The more grief, the more of HIS 'JOY', the greater the sorrow, the greater HIS 'JOY'! 

You may not see HIS 'JOY' right now, but let faith fill your heart with hope and truth as you live in  anticipation for HIS 'JOY'S arrival.  At that moment your grief will be turned to 'JOY' and your heart will testify of HIS love and power to deliver you.  It will be like death to life, grief to 'JOY'!
