"Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you..  For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.  "Which of you, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone?  Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake?  If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your FATHER in heaven give good gifts to those who ask HIM!  So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets."  Matthew 7:7-12

Cleansed Cleansed

Consider the following story that is not the case . . .  

You are a normal person (well, that much may be the case . . )  and as such you make mistakes.  But let's pretend that when you do, someone pours a large can of quick-drying enamel paint over your head.  Ouch.  Or yuck!  Either way, you are covered with sticky red and you can't get it off.

You must go to the store.  When you do, everyone knows you have done something very wrong.  No one wants to talk to you, but everyone talks about you.  They laugh.  They jeer.  The make unkind comments loud enough for you to hear.

This makes you very self conscious and very sad.  You leave, but you know you must go back out later to go to work.  Try as you may, the stain will not come off.  When you arrive at work, the same occurs that did at the store.  Laughing, jeering, unkind remarks . . .

Then someone with a big heart comes to you and says, "I forgive you . . ."  You are glad and you feel a little better to have someone who cares enough.  But, the paint . . .  It is still there.  It just won't come off.  Then your new friend says, "Come here a moment."  You do.  He produces a bottle of paint remover and a rag.  Gently but thoroughly, he begins to clean you up.  Starting from head and ending at foot he removes all the stain.  Finally it is gone.  You are free.  Free from the laughing and jeering and unkind remarks.

This is a picture of what JESUS came to do.  HE paid for our mistakes that are called sin.  HE paid for the intentional sins, and the unintentional.  HE paid for all.

And HE forgives!  But that is not enough.  HE then cleanses us from all the stain that sin has left on us.  When HE is done, we are free from guilt, shame and the "jeering and laughing" that is the result of our foolish choices.

"But this is about Supply," you may say.  And you are right!   I am convinced that 
one of the major hindrances standing in the way of what our FATHER has for us is the stain of sin.  Many times we accept HIS forgiveness, but do not allow HIS cleansing.  Or maybe we are deceived to think that we must still be guilty.  And 
guilty people do not deserve good things from our CREATOR.  This is a lie from the pit of hell and I would like to cast it down right now and expose it as such.  

And I believe I have.  Have I?  Are you languishing in guilt and self-condemnation over sin?  If you are, there is a MAN with a bottle of "stain remover" that will set you free.  HIS work is already complete!  HE did it.  HE paid it.  And no devil from hell can take it away from you.  

In the words of the Apostle Paul, 1 Corinthians 6:11   "And that is what some of you were.  But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the LORD JESUS CHRIST and by the SPIRIT of our GOD."  

You are.  Don't buy the lie!  FATHER has what you need and HE is ready, willing and able to give it.  Now receive!
