It Is Your FATHER'S Will For You To Be Fully Supplied!
(Editor's note: The Hebrew notion of Salvation (Deliverance) included much more than forgiveness and eternal life. Salvation meant freedom from debt, worry, fear and sickness. Power over enemies, total victory and possession of a land was integral to the concept. Today many believers have been put off by hyper-prosperity teaching. This teaching may have been responsible for many believers retreating entirely from the True Gospel, which portrays CREATOR as SUPPLIER!
~ A N D ~ Joshua son of Nun and Caleb son of Jephunneh, who were among those who had explored the land, tore their clothes and said to the entire Israelite assembly, "The land we passed through and explored is exceedingly good. If the LORD is pleased with us, he will lead us into that land, a land flowing with milk and honey, and will give it to us. Only do not rebel against the LORD. And do not be afraid of the people of the land, because we will swallow them up. Their protection is gone, but the LORD is with us. Do not be afraid of them." But the whole assembly talked about stoning them." Numbers 14:6-10 I want to propose and attitude. Well, actually a mentality. I am calling it the J/C Mentality. J/C for Joshua and Caleb. They were two of the 12 spies sent out to survey the land that CREATOR had promised to HIS people. All 12 spent 40 days checking out the land beyond the Jordan. When they came back with huge samples of grapes, figs and pomegranates, there came two distinct mentalities. 10 spies: "We can't possible make it in there. Big, tough people! We were like grasshoppers in comparison! J/C: We can do this! We are not fighting alone. FATHER is on our side! HE will fight for us. HE Promised HE would! Joshua and Caleb saw the same things that the 10 saw. Big fruit - Big enemy. The difference was their mentality. Not just a positive attitude, but a positive mentality based on the Promises of GOD! GOD said it - That settles it! This is the mentality that conquers all enemies and brings HIS Supply in to our lives! Yes, our lives! Nothing has changed. There are the promises of GOD. There is us, HIS people. There is the enemy. There is only one way to take the promises from the enemy. The J/C Mentality! A quick note. The goal is not to be rich! The goal is to have the Supply of GOD in our lives so that we can give HIM glory and that we will no longer be slaves to the wilderness system. That system is the one where we spend 80% of our time trying to be our own Supply. No time left for seeking HIS Kingdom! That was always HIS plan. Even back 4,000 years ago. That is to position HIS people where they would have no lack, so they could concentrate on the real issues - To spread the Word of our Great and Wonderful CREATOR and HIS plan for all people. The people of Israel failed at this. We don't have to, but we do. We either spend so much time running or Supplying, that we are not doing HIS will, which is to be ambassadors to the lost! If this does not apply to you, OK. But hang in there anyway, and teach this to someone who needs it. Our practical application is this. Every obstacle that comes your way and stands in the path of HIS Supply must be knocked out of the way. How? The J/C Mentality! ""The land we passed through and explored is exceedingly good. HE is pleased with us!
