Your world

It's a strange and mixed up world we live in. A world filled with hate and murder; man against man, nation against nation; the imbalance of wealth and poverty and the almost uncontrollable and unreasoning callousness of disease that maims and disfigures without discrimination or aim. But there are good things here on earth too, like the rising sun and the phases of the moon; the bright colors of summer and the golden Autumn leaf. And there is love and caring and sharing and there is laughter. There is God.

There is another world you should look to also, a world over which we have much greater control but somehow it is a world that is so often overlooked. The world that exists within your heart deserves and demands much greater attention than it is given, for the world where we now live is but for a short time and when it is gone it is gone forever. The world that you feel in your heart will reflect in your soul and in a time beyond the clock your world will be everlasting.

Take a good and honest look into your heart and see what is there. If there is darkness or doubting then cast it out in Jesus' Holy name and let the void be filled with his love and His Joy. Take a good look into your heart, for when the clock runs out for you, that which is there will count for or against you.

Fill your heart with Joy and love and forgiveness for the wars that rage about you here on earth are as nothing compared to the conflict that results from the regret of a heavy heart and a darkened soul.
