And the Lord said to me, "What is it that you know?"
I was at first confounded but then I answered saying, "I know so much, Lord." But when the Lord looked at me in the way that He so often looks at me I realized that I knew so little. "I know that I love you, Lord; and I know that the love which I give to you, you first gave to me; and I know that the love I give to others is the love that you have given to me; and that the more I give the more I have; and that the more I share, the richer I become; and I know that I praise you for it, Lord, for you are the Love of which I speak.

I know, Lord that you are the care that I have for others; and you are the forgiveness that I offer to those who harm me; and You are the joy that fills me to overflowing.

These are the things which I know, Lord.

And the Lord smiled and said, "You know all that you need to know, for with this knowledge you know all there is to know."
