Ease His Pain

My CREATOR and the lover of my soul,
no one can be equal or greater then YOU my GOD,
May my life calling be a blessing to YOU and,
help bring about YOUR perfect will to YOUR world.
I call to YOU as my PROVIDER of all my needs.
LORD, please forgive all my sins, and help me to 
forgive everyone who sins against me.
Please keep my feet on YOUR Path and help me
avoid the desires of my flesh and satan's call to me.

That's a great prayer and I'd like to take a look at just one part

forgive everyone who sins against me.

Have you ever considered this, when someone sins against you they also sin against the Lord? As provider and protector He makes it His business to shield us from harm (whatever form that harm takes) and if we are wrongly accused, He also is accused.

Now, we know what happens when you can't find the strength to forgive someone. Your non-forgiveness will slowly but surely turn into pain, perhaps even self destruction. To protect us against such things our Lord will forgive your (His) accusers....and so should you because when the Lord forgives, it is to ease your pain so now it is for you to ease His pain. Oh yes, the Lord feels pain. Every wrong act, every careless word, every moment of weakness against Him strikes to His very heart.

Jesus gave His life for us...a debt that can not be repaid...but we are blessed with the mighty power that we can ease His pain .... by genuine forgiveness.
