I will be discussing the characteristics of our relationship with JESUS.  You may be surprised and delighted to know how deep it runs!

The LORD knows our true self

Are you a poser?  I mean someone who is one person to his family, one to his friends and then, well, the real you.

I think we all are to an extent.  Some of us to a greater extent than others.  You may be surprised to find that the true goal of the Christian walk is to become who you really are.

You may be surprised also that the real you is good, or at least potentially so.  It is the you of your heart.  It is the you that only JESUS knows fully.  Yes, even you may be confused about who you really are.

You see why it may take a lifetime, rather, will take a lifetime to sort it all out.  Much of what we do in our present lives is this sorting process with the help of the HOLY SPIRIT.

I know it is mostly painful.  When we avoid the pain, we are running from the process.

Know this:  HE knows exactly who you are even if you don't. Let HIM do some sorting and some changing.  The result will be more pleasant and more powerful than you can imagine . . .
