I will be discussing the characteristics of our relationship with JESUS.  You may be surprised and delighted to know how deep it runs!

The LORD watches our back (and front)!

 

Rich people have to have bodyguards.  There is too much crime going on to be rich and alone at the same time.  Just an observation.  If you are rich, you may have a heavily armed person walking in front and behind you when you are out and about.

It is interesting that the LORD JESUS is in front and behind us.  Do we need a bodyguard?  Yes I think we do.

There is so much going on in this world that is detrimental to our faith.  We live our lives much of the time as though we are on our own, walking about in a dangerous place, with no protection.

But that just is not the case!  JESUS is with us.  HE sees what is coming and where we have been.  No one can sneak up on us.  No person, no demon, no thought . . . No Enemy!

And, contrary to false religious opinion, HE is not there to check up on us, as if to judge or find fault.  HE is there with HIS Hand of Blessing on our heads.

Isn't that a calming thought?  JESUS is with us every step and HE has HIS Hand on us to bless us, not to judge us.  Do you live your life with that knowledge?  HE personally said HE would never leave us or forsake us.  This is a fundamental aspect to our walk with HIM.

Start today living with the confidence that the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY cares so much that HE goes with us wherever we go and HE does it to make our lives better!
